Use a gentle toothbrush or spoolie, mild soap, then pat dry. Your chain is safe to swim in the oceans, lakes, and pools but we do recommend avoiding harsh chemicals, lotions, and perfumes directly on the chain as they may deteriorate the structure of the metal over time.
Once you decide on your chain and/or charm combination, it only takes about 3-5 minutes to fit and weld your piece of jewelry.
Absolutely not! We use a protective piece of leather between your skin and the welding area to ensure safety while welding.
We understand that accidents happen! Contact us for replacement or re-welding options. At Caitlin Rae, all of our chains, charms, and welds are under warranty.
If you need to remove your permanent jewelry, carefully cut it at the jump ring (welding spot) using nail clippers or scissors. Please DO NOT cut the chain at any other point because it cannot be re-welded.
Absolutely! You can walk right through just as if you would when wearing any other necklace, wedding ring or other piece of standard jewelry.
